Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a musical family. She spent most of her youth listening to classical music, boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic music, as well classic classical music. Ana loves tangos, opera, and all forms of dramatic performance. She began singing and learning songs with her mother she began her more intensive training in singing at the age of 16 with renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. She continued her musical training at the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. As a student and young professional, she was a part of various chamber groups as well as opera choruses throughout Guadalajara and Mexico City. Following her move into the United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2002 she relocated to southern California. She's a regular solo performer at events, private parties and other occasions and performs classical Latin American Music. Her love and passion in music, art and performing keeps her involved with a variety of local initiatives as a performer and teacher. Ana is also a previous participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is thankful for the opportunity to share her love and enthusiasm for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others, and in doing so hopes to inspire a passion particularly among the younger generation to keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
