Rosalia

Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is an Spanish pop and flamenco singer. Since she was a teenager Rosalia has explored the outskirts of traditional and pop music. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitarist and well-known musician, has described the sound of the new artist as sweet and sharp however with a bite. El Mal Querer is her second album, that was released in the year 2018, and was critically and commercially successful. After Los Angeles, her debut album released in 2017, she received a Latin Grammy for Best New Artist as well as an Latin Grammy nod. In 2021, the track La Fama with The Weeknd was released. Motomami was her 3rd studio album. She collaborated with many musicians and producers including Cory Henry. The release came in the month of March 2022, following an appearance of the single Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the first Spanish solo artist to perform on Saturday Night Live. Motomami Rosala was also the recipient of three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award two times, was the first woman to be awarded both.
